Description
Black Headed Gulls are on the red list of threatened wildlife. Here in Northern Ireland we’re quite used to seeing them around our coastlines, but probably didn’t appreciate just how endangered they are.
This Black Headed Gull is on her nest with 3 chicks that are less than a week old. Don’t worry, I used a long lens so I didn’t disturb them!
Let’s hope mum can raise the chicks successfully and grow their population once again.
