Male Mandarin Duck Portrait.
The beautiful Mandarin Duck. Even the best of designers couldn’t come up with a more splendours set of feathers than this. Mother Nature has really outdone herself with this adorable bird. So elegant and almost coy in nature. I never tire of watching them.
Luckily for me, they were introduced into the UK in the 1960s and can be found relatively locally to me.
Photographed in County Down, Northern Ireland.

This gorgeous duck WAS designed by a Designer: God. Nature had nothing to do with it. Nature was also created by the Designer. This is the most beautiful duck in my opinion. Wonderful portrait, so sharp and clear!
