Artist's Description
This male Mallard duck is having a good wash at bath time. Next will come the shakes like a dog to dry off a bit, followed by a good flap of the wings to dry the feathers before finishing off with a good preening.

Hi and thanks for your interest! Iβm Neil and I started Blue Lens Photography UK, photography by Neil R Finlay, back in 2016 when I had been suffering from PTSD, Anxiety and Depression. After being unable to continue in my employment, I picked up a camera again and returned to my first love of Natural History.
