The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) Portrush lifeboat. They are called out to rescue people in peril on the seas in all weathers. This boat is stationed in Portrush, Co. Antrim in Northern Ireland, but you will find them scattered around the UK coastline to enable a quick response. Volunteers make up the crews. True heroes!

Hi and thanks for your interest! Iβm Neil and I started Blue Lens Photography UK, photography by Neil R Finlay, back in 2016 when I had been suffering from PTSD, Anxiety and Depression. After being unable to continue in my employment, I picked up a camera again and returned to my first love of Natural History. It wasnβt long before I was afforded the opportunity to become a Volunteer Photographer with the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (in Northern Ireland) at its Castle Espie centre.
