Peacock Eye canvas print by Neil R Finlay.   Bring your artwork to life with the texture and depth of a stretched canvas print. Artist's Description

The peacock’s eyes normally relate to the tail feathers when on display. Isn’t it strange why that’s what we think of? They are a magnificent display when on show, but I used a macro or close-up lens to have a more detailed look. They are quite intricate in both direction and coloration. I just find it refreshing to study.

Hi and thanks for your interest! I’m Neil and I started Blue Lens Photography UK, photography by Neil R Finlay, back in 2016 when I had been suffering from PTSD, Anxiety and Depression. After being unable to continue in my employment, I picked up a camera again and returned to my first love of Natural History. It wasn’t long before I was afforded the opportunity to become a Volunteer Photographer with the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (in Northern Ireland) at its Castle Espie centre.
