A beautiful Mandarin Duck sits calmly on the cool water. Its colours/colors are so magnificent and pretty. It is thought to be a distant relation to the American Wood Duck, but even it would struggle to compare for beauty.

About Neil R Finlay
Hi and thanks for your interest! Iβm Neil and I started Blue Lens Photography UK, photography by Neil R Finlay, back in 2016 when I had been suffering from PTSD, Anxiety and Depression. After being unable to continue in my employment, I picked up a camera again and returned to my first love of Natural History. It wasnβt long before I was afforded the opportunity to become a Volunteer Photographer with the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (in Northern Ireland) at its Castle Espie centre.
