This image just captivates me. The play of light and shade, the indeterminate subject and the sense of dynamic movement. All despite my knowledge of what I photographed!
This is a really tight macro shot of a decorative piece of blown glass. This particular glass is clear, so the play of light and the colour has come from my backdrop and choice of lighting. The result is just amazing and this might just be one of my favourites of all time!

Hi and thanks for your interest! Iβm Neil and I started Blue Lens Photography UK, photography by Neil R Finlay, back in 2016 when I had been suffering from PTSD, Anxiety and Depression. After being unable to continue in my employment, I picked up a camera again and returned to my first love of Natural History.
