About Neil R Finlay
Hi and thanks for your interest! I’m Neil and I started Blue Lens Photography UK, photography by Neil R Finlay, back in 2016 when I had been suffering from PTSD, Anxiety and Depression. After being unable to continue in my employment, I picked up a camera again and returned to my first love of Natural History. It wasn’t long before I was afforded the opportunity to become a Volunteer Photographer with the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (in Northern Ireland) at its Castle Espie centre. I only volunteer a short time each week, but it’s important for me to feel that I’m giving something back and for a charitable cause close to my heart. Apart from photographing nature, I also enjoy most aspects of photography and there’s still a lot to discover. I try to get my image “in camera” as I’m not keen on over processed images. I believe that takes away from being a photographer! I will continue to add photographs for you to enjoy, so please have another look soon. Thank you Neil R Finlay P.S. My top tip for you - buys greetings card and frame it at home 👍🏻📸 Neil
